    Angela "Ann" (Delduca) Collins

    PORTSMOUTH - Angela "Ann" (Delduca) Collins, 88, of Rye Beach and formerly of Lawrence, Mass., died on Friday, April 25, 2003.

    Born in Lawrence and grew up in Methuen, Mass., where she attended local schools and graduated from the MacIntosh School of Business.

    She was active in community affairs as treasurer of the Jenness Beach Precinct for a number of years and as a founding member of the "Over 55 Club." She danced with the Maine Wood Cloggers, JoBridges, and the Kittery Line Dancers. She was a member of St. Theresa Church.

    Prior to her retirement she was employed as a tax examiner at the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, Mass.

    Mrs. Collins was the widow of James A. Collins, Sr., a retired Lawrence police officer.

    She is survived by her sons and their wives, John A. Collins and Ann of North Andover, Mass., and James A. Collins, Jr. and Jolyne of Menlo Park, Calif.; and her brother, Arthur Delduca of Salem, N.H.; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five siblings, Bertha Harnish, Elizabeth Trovato, Samuel Delduca, Ernest Delduca and Irene V. Pandelina.

    COLLINS - Angela "Ann" (Delduca) Collins, 88, of Rye Beach, formerly of Lawrence, Mass., died April 25, 2003. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Theresa Church, Rye Beach, Monday, April 28 at 11 a.m. Mrs. Collins has donated her body to Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, NH where it will be interred with that of her beloved husband. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Theresa Church, 815 Central Road, Rye Beach, NH 03870.
