    NORTH ANDOVER — Lydia DeZazzo, 77, of North Andover, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 at home.

    Lydia was born in Lawrence, the daughter of the late Alphonso DeZazzo and his wife Marianna (Teoli) DeZazzo. Lydia was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1950 and attended the McIntosh Business School in Lawrence.

    She was a faithful follower of Jehovah and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness on Ferry Street in Lawrence. She had worked at CBS Corporation in Danvers and later for Kelly Temporary Agency where she worked at Digital Equipment Corp and Wang Computers. She loved to travel and had visited Italy. She also enjoyed reading and speaking the word of Jehovah.

    Lydia moved to North Andover in the early 1990's. She was the youngest of six sisters and one brother.

    She is survived by sisters, Ida Triandafellow and Ruth Sullivan both of Lowell, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael DeZazzo of Haverhill; sisters Rebecca Cloonan and Minnie Khoury, both of Lawrence, and Rose Husson of Lowell.

    ARRANGEMENTS: A talk will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Farrah Funeral Home, 133 Lawrence St., Lawrence. Burial will follow beside her parents at Bellevue Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 4 to 8 p.m. at Farrah Funeral Home, 133 Lawrence St., Lawrence. Memorial contributions in Lydia's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
